Christy Banks was born and raised in Union City, Michigan. She attended Siena Heights University where she studied Child Development and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis in Math and Language Arts. Out of college she taught preschool for 2 years and did various substitute teaching positions, as well as coaching volleyball.
She started her career at Kellogg’s in September of 2005, where she was a contractor in the Customer Service Department. She was hired in after a year and was in the department for 8 years. She moved into Demand Planning for the Snacks business in September 2014. In March 2018, she moved to Manager Demand Planning Systems and Capabilities. In July 2023, after the company split, she moved to Continuous Improvement Manager- Demand for Kellanova where she resigned in May 2024.
Christy currently resides in Fulton, Mich. with her husband David, 3 children and their 3 dogs. She also has 2 older stepsons who live nearby. Besides her hobby farm, she enjoys playing volleyball, golfing, watching her children play sports and spending time with family.
