Kim Harvey has spent 30 years building Research & Development capabilities at Consumer Goods Companies (CPG) including Mars, Kraft Foods, Kellogg, Diageo and Clairol, Inc. Her experiences span CPG categories including shelf stable, fresh, and frozen foods, pet treats, pet foods, adult beverages as well as personal care.
As certified Change Management Practitioner, through Prosci(R) and a graduate of Ferris State University, Kim has a proven record of working collaboratively through cross-functional teams to build and deliver innovative strategies for new products, product renovations, cost engineering and quality programs that support the full product life cycle.
Kim is passionate about understanding consumer needs, identifying, and fulfilling the ‘job to be done’, with novel products, packages, or processes. She spent years focused on promoting Sustainability, including serving as a founding member of Ameripen®. Recently, Kim has focused her efforts on enabling programs through project management leadership, however, she still loves to be involved in the early ideation phase, leveraging design thinking capabilities and tools.
Kim can’t help but use project management tools in her personal life, as well and is proud to have earned a Carolopolis award for rehabilitating her historic home in Charleston, SC where she lives with her cat and 2 dogs.
