Dave Moore graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Microbiology, after which he started his Quality Assurance career with corporate and plant positions with Pillsbury and General Mills. His career path took him to Nakano Foods, Inc., helping deliver quality products to US and Japan markets.  His next move was to the Kellogg Company in 1998. 

Dave’s positions at Kellogg’s included corporate quality roles for the Worthington Foods and Keebler acquisitions, corporate quality for cereal operations and head of the Contract Manufacturing Quality and Food Safety department.  Additionally, he was also the Quality and Food Safety department head for the flagship plant in Battle Creek, MI.  He finished his time with Kellogg’s on the corporate food safety team as the company expanded environmental pathogen testing, allergen control programs and the development of Food Safety Plans required by the Food Safety Modernization Act.

Dave’s final career position was Director of Quality for Idahoan Foods in Idaho Falls, Idaho where he brought the company’s Quality Assurance program up to industry standards. 

Dave now resides in Rigby, ID where he enjoys camping, hiking, downhill skiing and occasionally losing flyfishing lures.
